Linda P. "My Mother has been a resident of Haven House Retirement Center for five years. How did she come to live at Haven House? After an extended hospitalization, Mom required an additional 30 days of skilled care. Typically, that care would be administered in a nursing home. Fortunately for Mom and her family, the skilled care was administered through Asher Home Health Services from Asher Community Health Center while Mom resided at Haven House.
When Mom was released from skilled services, she agreed Haven House was the place fo her. Seldom do seniors want to leave their own home, regardless of the situation. Mom was no exception, but she saw the wisdom of living at Haven House.
Mom is now 95 years old and living independently and safely at Haven House. I am grateful for Haven House Retirement Center and the very important part it plays in this community."
