Haven House Retirement Center  - Fossil, Oregon

Haven House was built in 1988 from a committee of community members wanting to keep their elders in their home town.  They formed a private non-profit with a seven member board to established a comfortable environment easing the transition from their house to ours. Our mission statement:  

 

To provide affordable housing with quality services which reflect and suport independence, dignity, choices and privacy, while meeting the needs of all tenants in a home like setting.

Haven House is a Residential Care Facility with 24 hour assistance and an on call registered nurse.  This means our residents must be able to transfer with one assist; most of our residents need small assists and reminders.  Our goal is to deliver these services in a manner that promotes the well-being, self esteem and independence of all our residents.
